Call or Write: Open Dental Help for a Westerville Practice

Ring the number if the office cannot see patients; it goes straight to ClearMax Labs. Use the form for anything that can wait for a reply. Phone and form are the only two ways in, and there is no booking link.

Calls to this number may be recorded or answered by an automated assistant. Please do not share patient information by phone.

Call, or write?

Call when the server is down, when every workstation shows a connection error, or when a ransom note appears on a screen. Write when the problem can wait a few hours: a new computer to set up, a backup to test, a server that is getting slow, or a plan for replacing one.

Three details make the first call quicker. Say whether one computer is affected or all of them. Read out the exact error, or take a phone photo of it with no patient name in the frame. Mention anything that changed since yesterday: an update, a new router, a power cut.

Power cuts and data scares

Westerville offices get their power from the city's own electric division, so a power cut is reported to the city. Call here once the lights are back and the server will not come up cleanly.

If patient data may have been exposed, call rather than write. A practice that is a covered entity follows the federal breach rule; for businesses the state's own statute does cover, the outside limit is forty-five days from discovery, and either way the first hours count.

A short message is fine. Nobody needs a diagnosis in the form; the questions that narrow it down get asked on the callback.

What the form keeps is on the privacy page. Who answers is on the about page.
